Research and professional interests

Dr. Suttmoeller’s research and professional interests involve terrorism and extremism generally and extremists groups and organizational responses to extremism and terrorism specifically. Additionally, he is interested in researching conservation law enforcement officers and their roles in the larger law enforcement community. Dr. Suttmoeller currently coordinates the Homeland Security and Defense Graduate Certificate and he has a decade’s worth of professional experience as a conservation agent in Missouri.
