Research and professional interests

Dr. Riddell’s research focuses on spatial and temporal changes in crime patterns, including examining the effect of policy changes and other interventions on crime. An additional research interest includes studying the effect of sporting events and venues on crime. Dr. Riddell serves as an assistant coach for the MSU Mock Trial team and co-advisor of Sigma Mu Sigma, the MSU chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
