Criminology Minor

Students relax on campus.

Expand your understanding of crime and justice

The criminology minor provides a broad examination of crime and justice practices while introducing you to basic criminal justice concepts, procedures and contemporary issues. The faculty members in the criminology program not only want to prepare you for careers in the field, but also want to create educated persons aware of social issues involved with crime and crime control.

After successfully completing the criminology minor, you will have learned about the multiple dimensions of crime, delinquency and justice, including the study of criminal law, policing, courts and corrections.
