Three-Year Degree Plans

The three-year degree plan was created to demonstrate that it is possible for a student to graduate in less than four years. The three-year degree option can be completed in six regular semesters and three summer semesters. However, a three-year degree plan is not designed for every student and the following specifications are assumed:

  • No remedial coursework is required
  • The student does not fail any classes
  • The student does not change either the major or minor
  • The student is willing to take classes each summer

Also, a three-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that a student may bring with him or her upon admission to the University.
