Applications for admission to the program will be accepted until July 20 for Fall Semester and December 20 for Spring Semester.  However, it is a good idea apply as early as possible.

There are two steps involved.  First, students must be admitted to the Graduate School.  For this process, send the following materials directly to:

• The Graduate Admission Application (available online on the Graduate College Admissions link, in the back of the Graduate Catalog, or at the Graduate College Office in Carrington Hall, Room 306).
• The non-refundable application fee of $35 (or $50 for international students).
• Submit two official copies of transcripts showing course work for the bachelor's degree.  Missouri State University transcripts do not need to be sent.
• GRE scores.

• A statement of intent describing your reasons for applying to the M.S. in Criminology, what you hope to gain from this educational experience along with post-graduate plans.
• Three letters of reference discussing your academic potential (preferably from academic sources).
